Los Cabos has no shortage of beautiful resorts, but here's the thing: a gorgeous pool, ocean views, and a margarita are just the starting point. The experience you have at one resort can feel completely different from what you'd find just down the road.
Some resorts are all about lively pool days, cocktails, and entertainment. Others lean into wellness, exceptional dining, or a quieter kind of luxury. And while they may all look fabulous in photos, they don't necessarily appeal to the same traveler or come with the same price tag.
I've been taking a closer look at four standout Los Cabos properties: Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos, Zoëtry Casa del Mar, and Paradisus Los Cabos. Each has its own personality, and understanding those differences can help you choose a resort you'll love rather than simply one that looks good on Instagram.
Let's find your match!
1. Nobu Hotel Los Cabos
The vibe: Modern • Sophisticated • Design-forward
If your ideal vacation includes beautiful design, memorable meals, a stylish pool scene, and a little understated luxury, Nobu might be your place.
Inspired by Japanese minimalism with a Baja California setting, Nobu has a polished, contemporary feel. It's known for its signature Japanese-Peruvian cuisine, including the renowned Nobu restaurant, along with several other dining venues offering a range of flavors. With multiple pools, a full-service spa, and thoughtful service, there's plenty to enjoy without leaving the property.
The details
Approximately 200 rooms and suites
Six or more dining venues
Four pools
A signature Nobu restaurant featuring Japanese-Peruvian cuisine
A spa and wellness offerings, plus poolside cabanas and a sleek, modern aesthetic
Best for: Couples, food lovers, design enthusiasts, and travelers who appreciate a sophisticated resort experience. It can also work well for families and groups looking for upscale accommodations.
A few things to know: Nobu sits along the Pacific coast, where the ocean can be rough and swimming may be unsafe. This is a resort where you'll want to enjoy the pools and ocean views rather than assume you can swim right off the beach. Also, don't assume your stay includes all meals and drinks. Dining costs can add up, so factor that into your budget.
The budget: Luxury. Nobu is a strong choice for travelers who value design, dining, and atmosphere and are comfortable paying separately for much of their food and beverage experience.
My Experience: I went to Nobu for a dinner, so I didn’t have the full experience of staying there. I thought it was gorgeous! They set us up in the event space for a private dinner with beautifully set round tables. I would feel very comfortable recommending this space for a celebration event (like a wedding). The food was exceptional and the service was top-notch!
2. Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos
The vibe: Serene • Indulgent • Ultra-luxurious
Le Blanc is for the traveler who wants to be thoroughly spoiled. Think elegant surroundings, attentive service, gourmet dining, a beautiful spa, and very few decisions to make once you've arrived.
This adults-only, all-inclusive resort puts relaxation front and center. Butler service, 24-hour in-room dining, a comprehensive spa experience, and multiple pools create an atmosphere that feels polished and indulgent without requiring you to plan every detail of your stay.
Food is a major part of the experience, too, with restaurants serving everything from Italian and French cuisine to Japanese and Lebanese dishes. There are plenty of opportunities to dress up for dinner, enjoy a cocktail, or spend an afternoon doing absolutely nothing. Sometimes that's the entire itinerary, and that's perfectly fine.
The details
Approximately 369 rooms and suites
Eight dining venues
Three bars
Four outdoor pools, including swim-up bar experiences
Adults-only, all-inclusive accommodations
Butler service, 24-hour room service, and an extensive spa offering
Best for: Couples, honeymooners, anniversary trips, and travelers who want a high-end, adults-only escape with excellent service and plenty of included amenities.
A few things to know: Not every room has a full ocean view, so pay attention to the specific room category when comparing rates. And while the all-inclusive setup makes budgeting easier, the experience is about more than simply having food and drinks included. You're paying for the service, amenities, dining, and overall level of luxury.
The budget: Upper-tier luxury. Le Blanc is a good fit for travelers who want to splurge on an all-inclusive vacation where many of the details are taken care of in advance.
My Experience: I visited Le Blanc as a dinner guest in their outdoor event space. It was a spectacular set-up overlooking the ocean. There was one VERY long table with an attractive arch on the ocean end that Le Blanc customized with our event logo in lights. The food looked and tasted fabulous! Although I didn’t get to experience them personally, there was quite a buzz about the beds at Le Blanc and how comfortable they are. Apparently, they are custom-made for the hotel.
3. Zoëtry Casa del Mar Los Cabos
The vibe: Intimate • Tranquil • Romantic
If a sprawling resort with endless activities sounds exhausting rather than exciting, take a look at Zoëtry Casa del Mar.
With just 65 rooms and suites, Zoëtry offers a more intimate experience than the larger properties on this list. Its Spanish-colonial hacienda architecture, red-tile roofs, gardens, fountains, and warm, earthy tones give it a distinctive sense of place. It feels less like a giant resort complex and more like a peaceful retreat.
The experience focuses on personalized service, wellness, gourmet dining, and a slower pace. Its all-inclusive program includes à la carte dining, premium beverages, 24-hour in-suite dining, and thoughtful extras designed to make your stay feel special.
The details
65 rooms and suites
Two signature à la carte restaurants
Two bars, including a swim-up bar
Private balconies or terraces, with many accommodations offering ocean views
Spanish-colonial hacienda-inspired design
Wellness-focused amenities and personalized service
Best for: Couples, romantic getaways, wellness-minded travelers, and anyone who prefers a quieter, more intimate resort over a large and lively property.
A few things to know: Smaller doesn't mean less luxurious. Zoëtry's appeal is in the personal touches, peaceful atmosphere, and attention to detail rather than a long list of restaurants or nonstop entertainment. If you want lots of nightlife and activities, another resort may be a better fit.
The budget: Luxury boutique all-inclusive. Zoëtry occupies a premium space, but its smaller scale and more personal atmosphere offer a different kind of value than a large resort with dozens of facilities.
My Experience: I visited Zoëtry Casa del Mar specifically to tour it and learn more about their space and offerings. Our tour guide informed us that the hotel was at full capacity, but I would not have guessed that. It was very quiet and peaceful. She said getting a beach chair by the pool is never an issue. Even though there are only two restaurants onsite at Zoëtry, guests have the option to have dinner at the other Hyatt resorts nearby - Secrets and Dreams.
4. Paradisus Los Cabos
The vibe: Lively • Stylish • Beachfront
Paradisus Los Cabos is a great fit for travelers who like a resort with energy. Enjoy the variety of daily activities and nightly entertainment, or choose to relax in the quiet of The Reserve or your own swim-up room.
Set along a beautiful stretch of the Sea of Cortez, this adults-only, all-inclusive resort balances a social atmosphere with opportunities to retreat and recharge. The dining lineup spans international flavors, Mexican cuisine, Asian fusion, and more, while the pools and bars provide plenty of places to settle in with a cocktail.
The Reserve offers an elevated experience for travelers who want additional privacy and personalized service, with exclusive areas and added amenities. That means you can choose a more lively resort atmosphere without giving up the option of a quieter corner.
The details
350 suites across an 18.5-acre beachfront property
Seven restaurants and multiple bars
Two pools, including a swim-up bar
Swim-up suite options and The Reserve upgrade
Adults-only, all-inclusive accommodations
Daily activities, nightly entertainment, and a beachfront setting with rare swimmable beach access in Los Cabos
Best for: Couples, groups of friends, celebrations, and travelers who want a mix of poolside fun, dining options, entertainment, and upscale all-inclusive amenities.
A few things to know: Paradisus is more social than the serene, spa-centered feel of Le Blanc or the intimate atmosphere of Zoëtry. The Reserve is worth considering if you want the added perks of a more exclusive experience. Although the beach is known for its swimmable access, ocean conditions can change, so always follow local guidance.
The budget: Upscale all-inclusive. Paradisus can be an appealing option for travelers who want a stylish resort with lots included, and it offers different accommodation levels to consider when comparing prices.
My Experience: I stayed at Paradisus for 4 nights for a conference, and most of our meals were customized to our group or off-site so, I didn’t get to experience all of the restaurants of Paradisus. But, I did take advantage of the pool and the poolside service. We reserved a cabana one day and had a very attentive server bringing us yummy drinks and snacks throughout the afternoon. There is always something happening at Paradisus - from “name that tune” or water aerobics during the day at the pool to karaoke and fire dancers in the evenings. It is a beautiful space in a beautiful setting, and potentially more affordable than other properties nearby.
So, which Los Cabos resort is right for you?
The best resort isn't necessarily the one with the most restaurants, the biggest pool, or the fanciest room. It's the one that matches the way you want to vacation.
Choose Nobu if food, contemporary design, and a sophisticated atmosphere top your list.
Choose Le Blanc if you want adults-only indulgence, attentive service, and a luxurious all-inclusive experience.
Choose Zoëtry if you prefer a smaller, peaceful property with a romantic, wellness-focused feel.
Choose Paradisus if you want a lively beachfront resort with activities, entertainment, dining variety, and the option to upgrade to a more exclusive experience.
A quick note about budget
Resort prices can vary dramatically depending on the season, room category, promotions, length of stay, and whether you're comparing an all-inclusive package with a hotel-only rate. A lower nightly rate doesn't always mean a less expensive vacation once meals, drinks, and other extras are added.
When comparing these four, look at the total experience rather than the room rate alone. What is included? How important is dining variety? Will you spend most of your time at the pool, at the spa, exploring the area, or enjoying the restaurants? And would you actually use the extra amenities you're paying for?
Those answers can make a big difference in which resort offers the best value for you.
